The Melamine Lamination Technology & Design Symposium brings together leading suppliers and manufacturers from across the decorative surfaces industry. Organized together with Wemhöner, Hueck Rheinische, Schattdecor, Saueressig, Felix Schoeller and Wiz, the symposium focuses on technology, design, and production developments in decorative surface manufacturing.
The decorative surfaces industry in Asia continues to evolve rapidly. Demand for higher-quality decorative boards, laminates and surface materials is growing across the region, with increasing focus on design, texture and production efficiency.
Manufacturers of HPL, melamine-faced board and other decorative surfaces are facing both new opportunities and new challenges:
• rising demand for realistic wood and material designs
• increasing focus on synchronized textures and surface quality
• growing pressure to improve production efficiency
• closer cooperation between board producers, décor printers and technology suppliers
To explore these developments from both a technical and design perspective, the symposium will focus on:
• lamination and press technology for decorative surfaces and HPL
• short-cycle press technology for MFC and melamine-faced MDF
• melamine impregnation and décor paper technology
• registered embossing (EIR) and surface texture development
• design, décor printing and current surface trends
The event will be held at the Duangjitt Resort & Spa, located just a short walk from Patong Beach.
The symposium includes presentations from the participating suppliers, covering topics ranging from press and lamination technology to decorative paper, surface textures, and the latest European design trends. In addition, a small exhibition area and informal discussions will give participants the opportunity to explore technologies and materials in more detail and speak directly with the experts behind them.
